My name is Julian Richen and I am a 16 year old Web Developer. I develop sites for clients while continuing my High School education and then my college education. My goal is to become a freelance Web Developer with a large portfolio by the time I finish High School, and then use my Web Development skills to help pay for part of my college debt.
I am a self taught Web Developer that knows the industry standard XHTML and CSS (2 & 3). I am currently learning PHP, Javascript (jQuery) and MySql, but I am mostly focusing on PHP for the time being.
I generally like to hang out with my friends and play a variety of sports. I enjoy Tennis and Archery year round, while playing Airsoft with my team during the cool season. I also game a fair share, owning a gaming laptop & a PS2 (I don't use a console a lot thought). I will typically play Shooters (FPS, TPS, MMOFPS) games, with some MMORPG games.
My first major site (for a client), and probably my biggest success is the OKFC or Orlando Kayak Fishing Club. With almost 400+ members and a very active forum this site is currently the crown jewel of my Portfolio. My second major site(developed mostly for my own enjoyment) is The Team Tactics Network or TTTN. This site is the largest site I have developed with easily over a 100+ pages. The Team Tactics Network may be my most complicated site with many hand written snippets to power all the features. Thought not widely visited like the OKFC it shows that the idea of housing a massive DB for FPS games (mostly F2P) can become one of the largest collections of privately kept up-to-date FPS DB's on the net.
